~*MY HAIR ROCKS*~- Healthy Hair Challenge!

Hi all! I am soooooo super excited about my first ever ~*MY HAIR ROCKS*~ Healthy Hair Challenge! I announced it on facebook the other day & have had great responses by those who would like to participate in the challenge. It is for both natural and relaxed heads alike and will be for 1 month (beginning May 1- May 31) in honor of my 1 year hair anniversary on May 28!

The BEST FRIDAY EVER!

Hello all! Its been a hot second since I've blogged. I've been so busy with things that hit me at one time, but I will get back in the swing of things & update everyone shortly. Anywho, this post is NOT about Nina today, for it is ALL about Jesus Christ!

Today is GOOD FRIDAY! What makes today so good is because of the death of Jesus Christ on the cross for our sins. Many people still do not know what happened, so I pray I am able to give you a little insight as to why this day is so good!
John 19:1-30 talks about Jesus being sentenced to be crucified. He could have very well kept himself from experiencing all that he went through, but because he loved us so much he died so that we may live!  So the reason we acknowledge this Friday as being GOOD is because if it was not for him, we wouldn't be able to experience eternal life today.

I thank God for the blood that he shed for you and I! We can never repay him for the good that he's done, but we can certainly live righteous lives in order that we may fulfill his desires to see us prosper & spend eternity in heaven with him. So I'm especially grateful for this day because if it had not happened, we wouldn't be alive to tell the story right now! Today is indeed a GOOD FRIDAY. Spend a moment reflecting on God's love and the fact that he gave his life for us. For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life (John 3:16).
