20 random things you may not know about me.....
1. I absolutely LOVE onions & cheese. I will put both on just about anything...with the exception of things like cereal & ice cream...lol!
2. I wear a size 8 shoe & am 5'4
3.The smell of those little toilet bowl fresheners (the ones with the metal hooks) are just lovely to me!4. I am left-handed
5. A part of me is still afraid of Freddy Krueger...lol.
6. My favorite types of food are Italian & Chinese (yummmmy!)
7. I can draw just about anything "free-handed" without having to trace it
8. I feel naked without earrings & must put a pair on everyday even if I don't go out of the house
9. Hair doesn't grow on my legs (LOL!)
10. I have been guilty of eating an entire LARGE pizza in ONE sitting #5millioncalories
11. I am the proud owner of almost 100 pairs of shoes (75% being mostly flats & many of which I've recently given away) I am not a "heels" type of girl.
12. I am very indecisive when it comes to choosing a restaurant to eat at. (I'm usually the person that says...I don't know what I want, what do you want?)...lol.13. I am a bargain shopper, so whenever I go into one worth shopping at, I can stay in there at least 2-3 hours.
14. The guys that I've dated are all very different (in size, height, skin color, & personality). One of the things each of them have in common is MUSIC whether it be through the band (instruments), choir (singing, musicianship), or songs (R&B, Rap, Gospel, etc.)
15. I MUST have on socks before going to sleep (even in the summer). I do not like my feet to be cold
16. When I was younger, I used to eat dirt/soil & still have cravings for it now.
17. I am a loner! Not by force, but by choice! I am also a very private person & like my "own" space...yet at the same time, I'm a people's person! (a tad confusing ey?)
18.Contrary to popular belief, I am VERY shy :-)
19. I do not like to drive! I am a backseat rider all day...I'll even ride shot-gun, lol!
20. I have never smoked before! (<---very random huh?...lol)

2. Love reading about the 1930's era.
3. Left handed
4. Love to cook large dinners for over 20 people.
5. I'm shy but at the age of 40...slowly coming out of it!
6. Never exercised for more than 10 min..(shame on me)
7. Was a size 0 in high school.
8. Wish I could sing and actually be able to perfom and people like it! (Can't sing very well...some days are better than others)
9. Always wanted to play the drums and piano.
10. I LOVE drinking hot drinks of all kinds..lattes, teas, coffee etc. (Would love to own a coffee shop)
11. Love to travel
12. Workaholic...been this way for many years! Would love to one day be able to sit back and relax.
13. Started working when I was 16 and kept a job ever since...longest period not working...6mths and that was by choice after my first son was born.
14. Married at 19.
15. Very critical of my work in anything I do.
16. Love to write papers.
17. Like to write and get straight to the point...had to learn some teachers like fluff and stuff in papers!
18. Favorite actor....Morris Chestnut
19. Favorite actress...Angela Bassett
20. Favorite musician...Anthony cansingtomeanytimeanywhere Hamilton! (Saw him and Angie Stone in concert in Philly a few years ago) Best trip ever...so far!
So #1 only makes sense on a cheeseburger and #17 I totally get; I'm the same way.
ReplyDelete@Angela: LOL! Girl, I love onions! Of course I'm cautious enough NOT to be in folks face after eating...lol! So I see we are "private" people! Thats certainly a great thing! One time I dated a guy for almost 4 years & after parting ways with him & venting to one of my good friends, she said: I never knew you had a boo! LOL....(darn skippy!)

ReplyDelete1. I looove spaghetti. That's my favorite food in the whole world (actually I love Italian food, period).
2. When I was younger I wanted to be left handed so in the 4th grade I taught myself how to write with my left hand. Yep, I'm semi ambidextrous.
3. I'm an HBCU band geek. The Marching 100 is my favorite.
4. I'm a shoe fanatic #nuffsaid lol
5. I DO NOT like to spend time shopping (only for shoes). I see what I need, get it and get out.
6. The Golden Girls and Law & Order (SVU and CI) are my favorite shows (I'm warming up to Criminal Minds).
7. I used to have a very bad temper until I allowed God to work on me and get rid of the ugly monster hiding inside.
8. My favorite color is purple.
9. I love my high school alma mater, Jones High School and am very passionate about supporting and giving back when I can.
10. I want to fulfill my dream of being a successful journalist.
11. I was born to write.
12. When I was in college, I finally put a name to this "thing" that was affecting my life. It was called depression.
13. I'm very particular about who I allow in my life.
14. I'm an introvert by nature. Sometimes it's mistaken as me being uppity.
15. I really like sports.

17. I've been celibate since 2003
18. Ministry in some form is in my future.
19. I'm waiting on God for my future husband.
20. I want anyone who meets me to know the Christ that lives on the inside of me.
