I HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY!
The Lord placed this on my heart to say via facebook today & I want to share it with those who are reading this post. This is in no way directed towards anyone in particular, soI pray it blesses the GIVER "AND" the RECEIVER....

I totally agree! Very encouraging. I am normally a "giver" but I have had to be led at EVERY angle! You are so right when you say that you can love & support a person from afar. I was feeling a little bad wanting to help a certain person but realized I'm ALWAYS helping...and that person isn't doing anything to help himself. I had to ask God to certainly guide my giving. This is DEFINITELY an area where we MUST be spirit led and ask for the wisdom of God!
ReplyDeleteDonna, I just need to remove my post & place it with yours because you are PREACHIN' the TRUTH girl! You are so right. I'm learning to take a step back from "doing so much" for people that aren't pouring back into me---and that's not a selfish thing to do, but its the CAUTIOUS thing to do! At the end of the day, God has you covered if you are in his will, but you must stand up for yourself as well. If you are always helping, you don't leave any room for a person to help themselves. Just as the saying goes, you have to show "tough love" sometimes, it is certainly RIGHT!
