I'm just like you!

Okay, so I truly believe some people think I have it "all together" and that everything is peaches & cream in my world, lol. NOTTTTTTTTTTTT.......triple X......nada......NO SIRRREEEE! I go through things just like the next person. What may distinguish me from some is that whatever I go through, I try not to show it because people watch me. I may be the only "Jesus" that alot of people will see, so it is important that I be a great example of Christ because I follow him. But on the other hand, sometimes people won't allow you to "fall, mess-up, or make a bad decision" simply because of WHO you are or claim to be. I've never claimed to be Miss Perfect, but I know who God is & what he's done for me. So to clear up any confusion & because this is my blog & I can be REAL, I'm honestly just like you! I........


Have morning breath....JUST LIKE YOU
Sometimes have no money...JUST LIKE YOU
Use the toilet for both "purposes"....JUST LIKE YOU (lol)
Get tired...JUST LIKE YOU
Want to sometimes hide under a rock and never come out...JUST LIKE YOU
Get angry...JUST LIKE YOU
Cry and sometimes even get a tad depressed...JUST LIKE YOU
Like listening to R&B, some Jazz & a little Rap....JUST LIKE YOU
Don't always want to talk or being around people....JUST LIKE YOU
Sometimes don't want to be bothered and stay to myself....JUST LIKE YOU
Like to try new things and go new places....JUST LIKE YOU
Like to laugh and be around positive people....JUST LIKE YOU
Sin & disappoint God so many times....JUST LIKE YOU
Have my good as well as my bad days....JUST LIKE YOU
Smell if I don't take good care of myself....JUST LIKE YOU (lol)
Make some wrong & right choices/decisions....JUST LIKE YOU
Expel gas & burp....JUST LIKE YOU (lol)
Need to be helped, encouraged, motivated, & inspired....JUST LIKE YOU
Have bad hair days....JUST LIKE YOU
Roll my eyes & don't feel like doing a darn thing sometimes....JUST LIKE YOU
Get aggravated, frustrated, disappointed, and annoyed/fed-up....JUST LIKE YOU
Have stuff in my nose, teeth after eating, & dried saliva on my cheek after sleeping....JUST LIKE YOU (lol)
Want to curse & tear my hair out....JUST LIKE YOU
Have sleepless nights & lonely days....JUST LIKE YOU
Have family & relationship problems....JUST LIKE YOU

.....and the list goes on & on! So the next time you pre-judge or make assumptions about who/what someone is, should do/have, or should not do/not have, etc.....make SURE you get to know them on your own first! Don't be fooled by what you see on the outside or even by what you read, because you never know what a person is going through behind closed doors. If I can't be REAL with you, then we don't ever need to cross paths again. I find no pleasure in pretending to be or do something I'm not. It took me a long time to find out who NINA was/is, and I'm still learning. I hope that you'll be able to accept me just as I do you, flaws and all! Though we are in fact uniquely different, we all still share/do some of the same things. So read the book before you judge the cover! :-)
