What is one thing you'd like to do but feel as if you don't have the resources, including finances to do it? *think about it for a moment*....now, what if I told you that the very thing you just thought about can be SO? Would you BELIEVE me?....
Many of us "sit" on our blessings due to a lack of belief! We don't believe in ourselves and we don't believe that God WILL make our dreams, goals, aspirations, visions, etc. a reality. Belief, faith, & trust go hand in hand. In order to have faith, you must first believe that God is able & trust him enough to see your visions come to past and vice versa. No matter what order you try to put those three words together, they still work!
So what's stopping you from believing that God will make what you deem impossible, possible? Is it your lack of faith....or your lack of trust....or is it simply YOU? You ARE somebody....you ARE destined for greatness....you ARE intelligent....you are WORTHY enough...you are NOT what you did! Get that in your spirit & believe that God can make the crooked straight. Don't allow anyone to steal your confidence.God specializes in things that are impossible! I encourage you right now to pray about those things you'd like to do. Whether you'd like to open a business, write a book, or even go back to school....it is POSSIBLE! For God is a way maker...but in order for you to believe that, you must practice FAITH! Will you go around faithless forever? If you have no faith...you have nothing because God is the one who makes all things possible. If you don't believe he makes all things possible, then you are just "here".
My prayer for you is that you begin to increase your faith, belief, and trust in God. When you trust God, you give him your all, including your worries, doubts, frustrations, and fears. After you've trusted him, step out on faith. Even if you don't fully succeed at that "thing" you thought about at the beginning of this post, you will still find relief in knowing that you tried and won't be apart of the "what if" crowd. Believe God & watch him work it out! I'm praying for you :-) Nothing beats a failure but a try! You'll never know what you're good at or even purposed to do if you don't exercise your faith. BELIEVE GOD today!
Now praise him like its already done! AMEN.

ReplyDeleteI am stepping out on faith and believing God to get my clothing line off of the ground. I have been teaching myself to sew for about a year now. I know I have a lot to learn but I won't allow the enemy to discourage me into thinking I am not qualified for it.

ReplyDeleteI have a brand new sewing machine that I've had for almost 3 years now that I have YET to even plug up. I don't know how to sew, but I've always wanted to learn, so Christmas of 08', my parents & sis bought me one. I need to get up on my sewing game, lol!
But thank you soooooo much for your support! I can't thank you enough for believing in what I write & commenting when others won't. It brings me so much joy. Sometimes I wonder if people are even reading, but whether they are or not, I can't let that discourage me. I appreciate it & I stand in agreeance with you that your clothing line SHALL BE SO! Its funny you even said all of this...check out my l00th post if you haven't already. You'll know what I'm talking about once you read it....lol.

ReplyDeleteI know how you feel when it comes to the whole commenting thing. I've been blogging for about a year and a half now. I don't get very many comments on my Bible posts. I get a few when I do fashion posts but that's not the focus of the site. I like to call it the "bait". I want people to come to the site and be ministered to. I sometimes wonder if what I'm saying is being read. Let me just say to you, keep being faithful in what you're doing. You never know who's watching. Just b/c you don't get a lot of comments, doesn't mean people aren't reading. God sees you and b/c of you being faithful over a few, He'll make you a ruler over many. You'll always have my support. Just keep doing what you're doing.
On the sewing, it's not hard at all. I had never touched a sewing machine before I started sewing. I just watch tutorials on Youtube and Google when I run into problems.I read a lot of sewing blogs and I even watch the boring shows with the old ladies sewing. If you decided to start sewing and have questions, let me know. I'm not expert (far from it) but I can help the best way I can or point you to a good tutorial.
Ninaaa, it's been a minute. Do you even remember my name and how we met? WALDEN U. How's school? Girl this post was timely. I'm not in school (brief sadface) but you just reminded me that GOD is going to work out what seems impossible in HIS own time. I've been reading your blog on and off just never commenting since I'm usually reading from my phone. Regardless if you've been led here to write...keep writing. I have a fashion blog but I share God's word every chance I get because it is what makes me who I am. Tips hat to ya (wink).

ReplyDeleteKerissaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! Of course I remember you! Girl, school is school, lol. I'm at the point where I want to just say FORGET IT! Though I don't have much to do in my spare time, I'm still at the point where I think I need a break to refocus. Towards the middle of every semester, I get lazy and it seems harder and harder to do my work and submit everything on time, smh! But all will be well :-)
ReplyDeleteNow as for you missy, lol, God's got your back! As the saying goes, a setback only leaves room for a MAJOR comeback! Just because things may seem a bit "slow" for not doesn't mean they won't eventually speed up. So use the time you have available to just re-collect your thoughts. You must keep trusting God & obeying him and him only! I do get a little down sometimes when I think no one is reading because I just want to help everyone that I possibly can. But I also have to remind myself that if its only ONE person I'm helping, then I've did my job.
But I'm sooooo glad you got a chance to comment. Lately I've been so bad at keeping up with other blogs, especially the comments. But I must find the time to support my brothers and sisters! Girl, you are going to be just fine. Hang in there! You are doing the darn thing girl & I commend you! Now, hats off to YOU!!!! :-)
