DANG girl, why -you- write so much????

Don't let what others say/think  keep you from expressing yourself!

Lol! I bet alot of people have secretly asked themselves that about me and/or have discussed it publicly amongst themselves & others! Some people have even told me themselves that I "write too much" or my facebook statuses are "too long". Yep, I've had people to *hint* at it before, and I used to really get offended because those were MY words that I wanted to use to help those who desired to hear them (which is one, of many, reasons I decided to start blogging). I know that alot of people only read half of what I & others have to say because they don't feel like reading a "book" so to say, lol! But as I allowed God to speak to me today concerning that, I had to even ask myself...."Shenina, why DO you write alot?" And God revealed to me just as plain as day that part of my *POWER* lies in my words! Wooooo Jesus! Umph....if that wasn't tough, I don't know what was....lol! It makes sense to me now. Writing is a form of expression. The older I get, the more I see that I'd rather write than talk. It doesn't mean that I'm a mean person, it just means that I'm finding "who I am" even more & what I like and do not like to do. I'm not the best writer, but when the spirit of the Lord is on me, its just on me, lol! No love lost, much respect gained!


Many of us, including me, have missed the opportunity to be blessed spiritually, mentally, emotionally, physically, and even financially because we DON'T want to read! I've had three FREE giveaways that I know of where you only had to READ in order to participate. Nothing major, and it didn't cost you a thing. Well, each and everytime I did it, only one maybe two or three people responded, and that was fine. But I'm sure many others would have loved to be blessed if only they had just READ to the end! I too am guilty of this and sometimes will only read half of what I see, but I'm trying to do better, especially if I want others to do the same to me! Just imagine how God feels. We get right to the end of our breakthroughs (blessings) but we give up prematurely because we don't "feel" like continuing on! Hmph...hmph...hmph, shame on us!

Some inquiring minds wanted to know, so I hope this helps, lol. I know that many people will never admit that, but the truth shall set you FREE! Even as to facebook & this blog, it is a *personal* account and means to express myself, just as you have the opportunity to do so as well. Don't knock someone down just because they are expressing themselves. When you publicly post something, you want people to be interested in what you have to say as well, so do unto others as you'd have them do unto you. Some people are wordy (I know I am, and I'm trying to cut it back just a bit, lol!), and some people don't have much to say YET regardless of what type of writer or thought expresser you are, both carries alot of weight.YOU have the choice whether to read what someone posts or not. I've gotten looked over and skipped over plenty of times, but I'd rather that happen then for people who don't care anything for me read what God has given me!

It is what it is ya' know?  Don't want to stick around? Then KICK ROCKS!

So keep kicking! Lol! I've always heard that if you don't want someone to know something, put it in in a book....and that is so true to some extent because we as a people overall don't like to read. I'm breaking out of that habit now because my breakthrough & even my blessings could very well lie in what a person has to say! If you don't like what someone says, then you do have the option to unfriend/unsubscribe to them on facebook, unfollow them on twitter/blogger, and more. But just remember, you reap what you sow and though one may see your words as meaningless, someone, somewhere out there in the world may see them as meaningFUL!! I truly thank those that have stuck it out with me. I have yet to get around to everyone like I want to, but please be patient because I value your words just as much as you do mine! I may not say it everyday, but I truly do and I'm so appreciative! God bless & love ya' regardless! HAPPY READING everyone.....lol!

SINNER: YOU have the audacity to dream??? Hmph....

So, maybe someone told you that you're crazy for wanting to do "that". Or someone told you that you'll never be able to successfully accomplish & pull "that" off. Maybe someone told you that only -this type of people- can achieve "that". Or maybe even someone told you "that" is impossible because of the greatness of the task or because of your dark past.........

What?? YOU (yeah YOU that is reading this) have the audacity, the balls (<---no offense), the gall to dream? YOU- the one that is still fornicating....YOU- the one that used to be or still is a stripper or prostitute?....YOU- the one that was or is still addicted to drugs & alcohol?......YOU- the molester, the porn addict?....YOU- the robber, lier, cheater, abuser?.........YOU?????? You're not good enough! God will never forgive you! You're going to hell with gasoline drawers on! God doesn't want you! People will never respect you! You're not worthy enough to live a pleasing life! You are nasty! I don't want my children around you! I must turn my nose up at you because you aren't like me! You are so disgusting! I can't believe that you did that & still think God is going to forgive & bless you! You are a nothing, a nobody, you make me sick! Don't ever come around me again! You'll never have better because of what you did/are doing! I'm still tripping off the fact that you are still dreaming & thinking BIG......Ugggggh!

The above may sound a tad bit harsh, but truthfully speaking, there are thousands upon thousands, even millions of people who have heard, are hearing, or will hear those words. My intentions weren't to offend anyone & this wasn't directed at just one person, but ALL OF US! The message behind this post is simply- NO MATTER WHAT YOU'VE DONE, ARE DOING, OR EVEN WHAT YOU WILL DO....GOD STILL LOVES & WILL FORGIVE YOU! Though it crushes my spirit & makes me want to fight---->even the child molesters can be forgiven! God can take what is broke, busted, & disgusted & make it NEW! If you don't believe me, look at YOURSELF! Yep, I said it.....look at YOURSELF!

Matthew 6:14-15- For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

If God wiped away each & every person that ever sinned from the face of this earth, there would be NO ONE..I mean NO ONE left. I don't even think there would be a bird. We have ALL fallen short (Romans 3:23- For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God). Therefore, judging others based off of their past is a huge NO NO, because in that case, you need to be judging yourself as well. True enough, the severity of some sins are in fact bigger than others, but a sin is still a sin is still a sin. Many people have a huge misconception on that matter, and I won't get into details about it. But though both lying about taking the candy & killing someone are both sins, one carries a more severe consequence.

I said all of that to say this, I don't care WHAT you've done because you're never too filthy, too low, or too nasty that God can't turn you around & make everything you went through work out for your good & his glory! YESSSSSS, YOU can still dream & accomplish goals! YESSSSSS, YOU can still be successful!! YESSSSS, YOU can still be the person God has called you to be! People will never allow you to live your future because they're too stuck on your past. That's why its important to know that your actions now may cost you alot of pain later (reputation). BUT...and once again, I thank God for the "BUTs", when you are in HIM, you are a new creature! He and only he will work situations out to where you'll know that NOBODY did this BUT God!

Now, though you'll be forgiven of your sins, it is NOT an excuse to continue sinning. When you sin, pray, repent, turn from your wicked ways, and live a life that's pleasing to God. Its just that simple. But whenever we sin, God will still punish us because he loves us just that much! Just as a parent disciplines a child to show them that they may not want to do that again & to teach them a lesson, the same goes for us & God because he wants us to learn from our mistakes. If you're currently sinning now, STOP it! For every temptation, God will ALWAYS make a way of escape. If you want freedom to make the right choices, then its yours...IF you want it! We have to get up & in there with God to show him just how sorry we really are because  if you're still dibbling and dabbling in sin thinking its all good, your next "please forgive me" may be too late! Repent today so that you can live tomorrow (if it be God's will for your life!).

The next time someone wants to throw up your past in the midst of you trying to do & be better, remind them that God has no respect of persons. If he did it for one, he'll do it for the next! In him, ALL things are new & because of that, we can move forward! You are NOT what you did! You can still dream & be successful! You can STILL make it! Though it may be tough, its not reason enough to think low of yourself. Depending on the sin, it can be a very touchy subject. But if we want what God has for us, we have to get to the surface of some things so he can begin the healing process! I could go on and on and throw a whole bunch of scriptures at ya', but I'll just leave you with these thoughts, lol.......Thanks for reading!

If I can be honest & open with you, I have yet to *completely* let a guy that I used to be in a relationship with go. I know that I haven't thoroughly healed from the hurt because anytime I physically see anything that he does, says, or how he interacts with others, I get a bit emotional. Sometimes when that happens, I look up at Jesus and I'm like "REALLY GOD????? I'M SUPPOSED TO BE 'SO' OVER HIM RIGHT NOW!!!". Though my emotions are faaaaar from where they used to be concerning him, there is still a tinsy winsy part of me that still genuinely loves him. When you love, and I mean really LOVE someone, you will never completely get over them (at least that's my opinion for now anyways). He just doesn't know how much I loved him. Well, no let me take that back, I'm sure he did know, but he just wasn't the man for ME! When someone knows your worth, whether it be friendships, family, relationships, etc., then they will do whatever is in their power to make it work and stick it out with you. Without going into a long, drawn out story, I'll just leave you with these few words.....

DEUCES!!!! PEACE ALL THE WAY OUT! Lol...

When someone wants to leave, LET THEM GO!!!!! At first in this relationship, I found myself making so many excuses for him & trying to prove to him WHY he should be with me, continuously showing him over and over how much I cared. I even tried my best to "convince" him that I was the best thing that ever happened and that he'd never find another like me.....lol! I can laugh about it now because then, baby I was SO serious! Lol! But I'm so glad that God removed him from my life because now I see that he wasn't FOR me. It only still hurts just a little because I'm still disappointed in alot of things he did to me, but that's another story by itself, lol.

We cannot MAKE folks stay with us. When they say they want to go, let them! When they say they'll never talk to you again a day in their life, let it be! When they say they don't want to be with you, believe them!!!!! I used to try to "make" things work with him & say things like, "Well, he's just saying that now because he's mad"...or "He'll come around, and when he does I'll be right here waiting for him"....or, "WHEN he recognizes what he has, then he'll apologize & everything will be better"....or, "I know he's the one for me, so I'll just stick it out until he comes to his senses".....bwahahahaah! LOL! OMGsh, that is just so funny to me now because I've truly grown & matured a whoooooole lot!

So in short, ACCEPT whatever God allows! Them leaving you was not an accident! You deserve so much better than to have someone who really isn't down with you continue wasting space in your life. We MUST release these folks who don't want to be with us or apart of our lives and what we have going on. Its actually not that hard, you just have to know your WORTH! When you know that, then things will come much easier. At the time, I didn't know just how valuable I was and that there was some Man of God praying for the day God will send him searching for someone like "me". I'm slowly releasing him because its' not fair to the man God is preparing me for. I truly believe that's one reason why many single women who seek God & desire to be married have not been blessed with the opportunity yet because we are still trying to hold on to past relationships that weren't ordained by God (that's another story as well, lol!!!)! Only until we release the toxins will we be able to have a fresh start. So baby, it was fun while it lasted, but as you grow higher in God, the higher he will take you! If they don't want to be apart of your life or see the value in you, then let them GO!!!!!!!!! Boo, I can't make you love me, I can't make you stay with me, I can't make you do anything......so please, get ta' steppin'!!!!!!!

I stumbled upon this video the other night as I was talking to God & thinking about some situations I encountered with "friends". I had one friend that totally gave up on our friendship over a mere misunderstanding, and in turn she tried to belittle me publicly, lol! But oohhhh baby-baby, I'm so glad that Jesus is a fence because I could have let her HAVE IT!!! Do you hear me??? Lol! But I didn't because first of all, its not in my character & second of all, I know that it wasn't "her" so to say, but its the spirit within her. So when she wanted to leave me, I had no other choice but to LET HER GO!......DEUCES! *almost had a Chris Brown moment*....LOLLLLLLLLLLLLL!

Now that's a BAAAAAAD chick!

Lol! The blog post titles crack me up sometimes, lol! Anywho, I have been SUPER blessed to be afforded the opportunity to meet sooooo many fabulous Women of God, whether through blogging or just facebook alone. For the new year, I would like to do a *"Baaaaad Chick" series where I'll feature many amazing women that are doing the darn thing with their lives, careers, businesses, ministries, etc. But today, this very short post will be dedicated to women EVERYWHERE who are holding it dowwwwn (no offense to the men, lol).

We as women wear so many hats. We are mothers, sisters, business owners, cousins, aunts, friends, wives, cooks, cleaners/janitors, ministry leaders, chauffeurs, nurses/doctors, teachers, caregivers, encouragers, motivators, & more....shoot, some of us are even mechanics! LOL! With those hats come responsibilities, many of which seem unbearable sometimes. But for those doing whatever you have to in order to get er' done....I personally say WAY TO GOOOOOO! Your hard-work is not overlooked. Though I may not be able to physically see what you're doing or even know you personally, I still know that you're doing SOMETHING right and that by itself is worthy enough to be praised! I don't know how it personally feels to have to hold down an 8 hour or more job, attend to a husband, children, & more all in one day, but I can only imagine how tedious & hectic some things can get, so I HONOR YOU!

Regardless of what you're doing & how much of it you're doing, keep going! I know sometimes you want to give up and throw in the towel, and some days you may not even know whether you're going or coming, but the God inside of you is able to accomplish it ALL! You are a strong woman, you are a powerful woman, you are a worthy woman at whom God is pleased with. With him, ALL things are possible, so I encourage you to keep pressing on my sister. Put God first & look to him for the strength you need to wear all of your hats & then some. Shoot, you are handling things like a pro....and that itself makes you a BAAAAAAD CHICK!

But for now, if you're making it do what it do & aren't stopping short of success & accomplishing your goals, then kudos to YOU lovely ladies! Ummm, he just calls you BOO.....

And he doesn't even know your WHOLE name!!!!!!! When I first heard that song, I was stunned. And what gets me is that people actually like it, especially females. I don't have to listen to or know the rest of th song because just that part alone says so much (just my personal opinion). So sir, you don't know my whole name? Oh okay,  you aren't worthy enough to be in my space then.......is what alot of females should be saying. The sad part is that many young women dance to it, laugh at it, and think its cute, but in actuality the "guy" is saying that your name isn't even worth remembering! So is it cute now?

Ladies, do you REALLY want to be a "boo" to a man that doesn't know your name? Don't you know that you're so much more valuable than that? You have a name and if he can't remember it and respect the woman in you, then it says alot about him. BUT....we can't solely put the blame on the guys because our ladies don't respect themselves either. Society has given many of our young women permission to degrade themselves, and because they aren't being raised properly, they are becoming victims of explicit acts that will have an affect on them forever.I didn't want this post to be a long one, but I hope it enlightens the minds/hearts of the readers.

LOL! WOW....and this is how some guys feel about our young ladies!

Even if this small bit of advice doesn't necessarily hit home with you, share it with someone. We as women must teach our young ladies that they are more precious than anything. Money, cars, houses, clothes, jewelry, trips, etc. are not enough to buy them. Regardless if its common or not, your God-given birth name is what sets you apart. So if someone is just that "high & mighty" to the point they can't love, respect, & cherish your name just as God does, then why in the world do you even want them to be apart of your life? My sister, you are BEAUTIFUL. If he can't remember your name but just calls you Boo, then that means you're not important enough to him because if you were, he'd remember almost everything about you and then even try to learn some more.

Though I know "boo" is a common nickname that many people refer to others as (even I do it), I surely won't just call you that because I don't know your name, lol. At least I'll have the decency to ask you what your name is again before continuing to call you boo over and over again, lol. But seriously ladies, your name should be one of the first things people remember about you. If you allow young men to degrade you & continue calling you things other than that, then it says alot about you. You are VALUABLE....you are WORTHY....and you ARE AWESOME! If a young man can't see the greatness inside of you, then he doesn't DESERVE to know your name in the first place!
